Job Description:
>Responsible for aggressive prospecting of new brokers and financial planers in assigned territory.
>Obtains approval packages for new mortgage brokers and financial planners.
>Responsible for soliciting new files and subscription forms from approved mortgage brokers and financial planners in assigned territory.
>Provide on-going service support to mortgage brokers and financial planners.
>Commuicates and trains mortgage brokers on PDCG products, policies and procedures to ensure all files and sub forms are complete and within guidelines; must maintain a minimum funding ratio of 10%.
>Actively manages the pipeline from origination to closing.
>Establishes and maintains an effective territory plan of attack for consistent mortgage broker contact and provides a written report of sales call activities to the sales manager.
>Attend meetings of local and state trade associations.
>Stay abreast of indices, market changes, and underwriting guideline changes so you may discuss the venture capital and commercial real estate market in an informed fashion.
Job Requirements

Education, training, experience:
>High School diploma or equivelent. College degree preferred.
>Demonstrates sales ability and presentation skills.
>Strong communication, organization and time management skills.
>Minimum of 2 years experience in the financial , real estate or mortgage industry; preferably in a sales capacity.
>Articulate speaker with good interpersonal skills.
>Conduct outside sales calls to loan brokers to originate business.
>Review possible submissions and compare to current underwriting guidelines to ensure deals are within PDCG guidelines.
>Make sure broker is given accurate turn-times for all portions of the process from submission to funding.
>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
>Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as necessary.
>Review of pipeline at a minimum of (3) three times per week to ensure deals are proceeding at an acceptable pace.
>Attend meetings of local and state trade associations.
>Establish a business plan; as well as daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals.
